For General Category,merit list will be prepared on the basis of valid GATE SCORE. If seats remain vacant after admitting students with valid GATE score,then the admission for vacant seats shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying degree subject to securing of a minimum of 60% marks.

     The Sponsored Category candidates in addition to the fulfillment of eligibility conditions as basic criteria given below must have a minimum of one year of full-time work experience in a registered firm / company / industry /educational and research institution / any Government Department/ Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought after the completion of qualifying examination as on 30th June 2008.
A letter from employer must be furnished stating that the candidate is being sponsored to seek admission in M.Tech(IT)/M/Tech. (CSE) Full time programme.

The Resrved Seats for M.Tech.(CSE/IT./VLSI) programmes as follows:

1. Fifteen percent seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes.
2. Seven and half percent seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes.
3. Five percent seats are reserved for Defence Category.
4. Three percents of seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates.

Basic Eligibility Criteria:

1. B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent degree with 60% marks.
2. MCA, M.Sc. (IT)/ Computer Science/Electronics with 60% marks.
