Master of Technology Programmes

CDAC, Noida has been given a mandate by Govt. of India to undertake High-end Human Resource Development activities. With its mandate, the Center focuses on Post Graduate Education, Training and Research in emerging areas of Information Technology and Communication. The prime focus of Education and Training Programmes at CDAC, Noida is to establish the balance between advanced learning and research. Thus, fundamental premise of the academic culture is the inter-mixing and interaction of Research and Education.

Under this mandate, CDAC, Noida started two year regular M.Tech. programmes in the following specializations:

1. Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
2. Information Technology (IT)
3. VLSI Design

All M.Tech. programmes are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Delhi and affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi.

CDAC professes the policy of establishing the balance between research and teaching for higher education. Thus, fundamental premise of the academic culture at the Center is the inter-mixing and interaction of research and education. While advancing knowledge and understanding, it is excepted that the research activity would provide experience in theory and experimentation for students and professionals, and at the same time it would ensure that classroom teaching remains up-to-date and relevant. Simultaneously, the teaching activity is excepted to provide an ambience in which the relevance, accomplishments and vitality of its research are concurrently embedded in the knowledge up-gradation process to provide a competitive edge to the students and professionals.

OBJECTIVES

1. Development of technologies in emerging areas of Information Technology benchmarked to international standard.
2. Increasing R&D productivity in the above areas in term of manpower performance.
   
3. Consolidating the existing distinct capabilities of CDAC, Noida and continue acquiring state-of-the-art skills.

Salient Features of M.Tech. Programmes: Admission in M.Tech. programmes will be made on the merit of valid GATE score with minimum 60% marks in qualifying degree. If seats remain vacant, they will be allotted to candidates without GATE score on merit based on the qualifying degree. Reservation/relaxation to reserved category candidates is applicable as per GOI norms.

Scholarship to all GATE qualified candidates
4. Scholarship to Non-GATE candidates in II year based on performance & selection process
