Linux Club is the one of the practical initiatives taken by C-DAC, Noida. The club started with only four members and now has emerged as one of the most prestigious and successful clubs of the Institute.

The Club aims at providing support in the field of open-source community.The Club provides open-source solutions to all its users. Members of the Club include the faculty of C-DAC and the students of MCA, MTech and MBA branches of the Institute.The Club believes in providing solutions by mutual knowledge-base of its members. Queries can be posted at the Linux Club group or in the Forum. The queries will solved by the members of the Club.

Linux Club releases it's monthly "Newsletter" which contains all the information regarding the Club's activities and open-source community around the world. The newsletter mainly consists of three sections. One of them is typically based on technical advancements in the community and is simply a tutorial requested and presented by the Club members. The other two sections are based on aspects like the world's latest in open-source.
