Land Records Management
System for District Gautambudh Nagar
This system is developed as part of the Smart City
Project for the Dist. Gautambudh Nagar. The District
has 3 tehsils viz. Dadri, Sadar, Jewar which in turn
consist of 421 villages. Revenue staff maintains land
records in form of khatauni i.e. ownership record
registers and khasra i.e. land usage register. At
Lekhapal’s office Khatauni is maintained and
updated. Khatauani consists of 9 fields, the first
being original holder of the land and last one being
remarks, where in the mutations, if any, are entered.
In every six Fasli years, the Khatauni is rewritten.
Along with this Khasara i.e. annual record of cropping
patterns, land utilization such as barren, forest,
under cultivation etc. are being maintained.
Land records management system provides
details like ownership, locations, taxes and other
relevant details. The modules developed take cares
of information with appropriate data feeding. Out
of 421 villages 385 villages have been computerized
and reports handed over to District Administration
for validation and verification. This system is useful
for easy and timely availability of data at any desired
location; and further becomes a basis for planning
land acquisition and other similar activities.
The system is designed with GIS interface,
using client server technology and various front-end
tools.
