Q. Does my government/ employer have to pay for my training?
A. No. The training fee, living and boarding allowances are paid by Indian government under the International Technical Co-operation program.
Q. Do I need sponsorship and leave from my organization?
A. Yes. The organization would sponsor your application to your country's technical board/embassy that would further forward it to the Indian High Commission/Embassy in your country.
Q. Who will arrange/bear the cost of my Airfare?
A. The Indian embassy in your country would give you return air tickets.
Q. What is the medium of instruction?
A. ENGLISH language will be used for the lectures and instructions.
Q. Can I bring my family along?
A. The Indian government only sponsors technical candidate working with a government/reputed private organization. You will have to bear the expenses of your family.
Q. Where do I get the sponsorship forms?
A. Normally the Indian Embassy in your country forwards the course information to your embassy/technical board. Your country's embassy/technical board has the sponsorship form. However, you can get the format of the form by e-mail from the course co-ordinator which may differ from country to country.
